Seasons and Weather

There are four seasons of the year: summer, autumn, winter and spring.

In winter it is cold and snowy. The days are short and the nights are long. The ground is white. Children can ski, skate and sledge.

In spring it is warm and sunny. Sometimes it is rainy. The trees are green. Birds sing songs.

In summer it is hot and sunny. The days are long and the nights are short. Children don’t go to school. They go to the river or forest.

In autumn it is rainy and windy. There are grey clouds in the sky. The trees are red, brown and yellow. There are many vegetables and fruit in the gardens.

I like all seasons of the year.
