Successes
and achievements
|
My
best success in teaching is the success of my students. They
always win the victory in City English language Olympiad or
other contests. Nevertheless I always need to do better,
that’s why I try to find out something new for my pupils and me.
Teacher development is very important for
me.
|
Challenges
|
I
always try making learning interesting and keep students
motivated. My students needed more oral practice so they can be
more confident to speak. What kind of oral practice could I use in
class? We joined “Generation Global” programme and now we
communicate with schools from different countries and do team
topics. This programme is free. It’s not easy to find free
proper resources for teaching and learning. I use British Council
LearnEnglish Teens for listening, reading and speaking. School
summer camps can sometimes be boring, but not for my students.
Last summer I took the theme “My town” as a project. The
pupils created maps with places of interest of the town and made a
video commenting every sight.

Action plan for continuing professional development |
Next
year I am going to take a course in Sumy
Regional Institute of Post
Qualifying Education. I’ll
continue my studying with British Council. I
want to find not very expensive courses for teachers in Kyiv. And
of course I’m planning to use different free Internet resources.
