London

London is the capital of Great Britain. It is very beautiful. London is situated on the river Thames. There are about 10 thousand streets in London. About 9 million people live in the city.

Trafalgar Square is in the centre of London. Nelson Column is in the centre of the square. It is a monument to Admiral Nelson.

You can see the Houses of Parliament in London. The highest tower of the Houses of Parliament is Big Ben. It’s a very big clock.

Buckingham Palace is the home place of the Queen. London Eye is a very big wheel.

There are a lot of bridges over the Thames. Tower Bridge is more than 100 years old.

The Tower of London is a museum now.

You can see a lot of churches in the city. Westminster Abbey is the oldest royal church.

There are many parks in London such as Hyde Park and Green Park. They are beautiful.
